Ibanez’s Tube Screamer TS9 foot pedal is regarded as one of the best pedals ever. Now, thanks to the Ibanez TSA15H, you don’t have to have both a tube amplifier and an overdrive pedal for those typical warm, overdriven tones. The TSA15H has been pre-wired with a modified Tube Screamer TS9 circuit, giving you the same great tones without having to mess with a foot pedal.
The Ibanez TSA15H is a 15-watt amplifier that uses two 12AX7 pre-amp tubes and two 6V6 power tubes. It can be ran as a full 15-watt amp in the pentode mode, or as a less powerful 5-watt amp in the triode mode. The built-in Tube Screamer in the TSA15H is footswitchable, but you can also toggle the effects and tweak the tone on the face of the amp using the Overdrive, Tone, and Level controls.
Not only does the TSA15H have the Tube Screamer with its dedicated controls, but it has a 6-decibal boost that can be accessed via the toggle switch on the face of the amp or a footswitch, as well as global bass, treble, and volume controls.
